The production, at Whitehaven Civic Hall, will run from Wednesday, June 21 to Saturday, June 24 at 7pm. A matinee will also run on Saturday from 2pm.
Two gangs in a fictitious city populated only by children are in a rivalry of Capone-ian standards. Dandy Dan’s gang has gotten the upper hand since acquiring the “splurge” gun.
The production, directed by Maria Morton with choreography by Jude Henderson, includes the songs Tomorrow; My Name is Tallulah; So You Wanna Be a Boxer and Fat Sam’s Grand Slam.
