A burglar has admitted being involved in break-ins which took place on neighbouring streets in a Cumbrian town.
David Robert Harrison, 45, appeared at Carlisle Crown Court today. He was due to go stand trial having denied three separate charges, but changed his pleas.
Harrison admitted burgling sheds and an outhouse at two properties on Kings Drive, Egremont, and also breaking into an insecure cupboard at nearby Royal Drive with intent to steal.
All of the crimes were committed on April 4.
Harrison is said to have stolen several items from the Kings Drive addresses, including petrol and electric strimmers and a can of paint.
He is due to be sentenced for the three offences at the crown court later this week.
In the meantime Harrison, of The Hollies, Egremont, was remanded in custody.
