Police are appealing for the driver of a vehicle involved in a collision which killed a dog in Parton to get in touch.

At approximately 3.20pm on June 29 a vehicle, similar to a Ford Kuga, collided with a dog on Main Street and failed to stop.

The dog, a two-year-old male Pomeranian called Koda, has died as a result of the collision.

Police would like to appeal to anyone who saw the collision, or has information, to come forward.
