Most of the roads which were closed after the county was battered by heavy rain have now reopened.
But four bridges remain shut as underwater inspections cannot be carried out.
These are:
A595 Holmrook Bridge
B5345 Kersey Bridge (between St Bees and Beckermet)
The Forge, Eskdale
Egremont Bridge
The structures will stay shut until water levels drop so the inspections can take place.
West Cumbria was hard hit during yesterday's severe weather, and this morning 16 roads across the county were still closed, but most have now reopened.
The Met Office said this morning that today will be a much dryer day, though some heavy rain is expected tomorrow – initially in the morning and then later in the afternoon.
