Final preparations are underway for the Ireby Music Festival which starts on Friday.
The village music festival, headlined by Eliza Carthy and the Wayward Band on Saturday, is already sell out.
The main Skiddaw View stage and marquee have been delivered to the site.
Local residents were holding their breath as the articulated lorry carrying the load expertly negotiated one of the back lonnings to get the equipment up to the field where around 650 folk are expected to enjoy the weekend of music.
It was a tight squeeze for the lorry last Friday and one house-holder joked with neighbours that she wondered whether the wagon driver could have cleaned out her gutters as he passed.
The weekend's showcase is the
16th Ireby Festival.
Over the years it has developed a reputation of early sell outs.
Bella Hardy, Tide Lines and The Small Glories are among those performing at the festival.
