GEORGE Gillian Mary (nee Cowley) Of Bootle/Millom passed away peacefully after a short illness surrounded by her family on Friday 12th April 2024, aged 88 years. Gillian will be greatly missed by her loving family, her friends and the many groups she until recently played an active role in. A celebration of Gillian's life will take place at St Michael and all Angels, Bootle, Cumbria, on Tuesday 30th April 2024 at 2pm. Family flowers only, and donations, if desired to be shared between Duddon and Furness Mountain Rescue Team, and St Michael and all Angels Church c/o Norman Southward Funeral Director.
