MCCARTEN, Margaret Gerard, Lesley, Stephen and family send heartfelt thanks to all those who attended Margaret's funeral, sent cards, flowers and donations. To Father Richard a special thank you for his support, kindness and for the beautiful funeral service and to Father Cenydd for the readings. Six close family members acted as pall bearers and were amazing. During Margaret's illness were truly grateful for the dedication of the carers, nurses, doctors, ambulance and fire services and for the care they gave. Also, in Margaret's final moments, the sensitivity of the West Cumbria Hospice at Home nurse was exemplary and, from the moment our final journey began, Eaves Funeral Service guided with kindness and reassurance for which we are so grateful. Thank you to the Flower Basket for the beautiful flowers and to dejavuvideo.co.uk for the live stream of the funeral service at St Begh's, Whitehaven and committal at Distington Hall. The live stream was picked up by relatives in Britain, America, Australia and New Zealand. God Bless.
