The County Of Cumbria (Footpath No.223012 In The Parish Of Cockermouth) (Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Network Plus to carry out works to excavate a joint bay with track to install a cable ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along that section of Footpath No.223012 Tweed Mill Lane in the Parish of Cockermouth from a Point outside the property known as 'Beckstones', extending in an easterly direction for approx. 70m.
A suitable alternative route for pedestrians will be available via the unrestricted section of Public Footpath No. 223012 and the footways on Skinner Street and Victoria Road. Any queries to the Countryside Access Team, The Parkhouse Building, Kingmoor Business Park, Carlisle CA6 4SJ or

The Order will come into operation on 4 April 2022 and may
continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date
as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed, although
it is anticipated that it will only be required for 5 days.
