Crewe striker Jordan Connerton has joined Workington Reds on loan - taking Darren Edmondson's signing spree to four in 24 hours.
The pacey front man goes straight into the squad to face fellow strugglers Harrogate on Saturday after agreeing a move before today's deadline.
Connerton rose to prominence with Lancaster before League Two side Crewe offered him a move into the professional game.
The lively 22-year-old joins Altrincham's recently released defender Adam Flynn and Middlesbrough teenagers Lewis Galpin and Michael Roberts at Borough Park.
Edmondson said: "To get Jordan in has been a great move for the club. We have worked hard to secure the deal and he offers us something different in attack.
"Right now we need to score goals and Jordan has done that throughout his young career."
- Carlisle United youth team striker Mark Beck has joined Reds on work experience.
