Combe runners in close-run finish in Dalton road race
THE fourth road champs club counter race in local running club Black Combe Runners’ road races series for 2012 took place right on their doorstep when the annual Dalton-in-Furness 10k got underway from the town’s Cricket Club.

Seascale cements reputation with hosting of finals

KESWICK are the early pace-setters this season in the Educomm Direct Ltd West Cumbria Men’s Fours League with maximum points from their first two games. On Friday they won 7-0 at Cleator Moor. IT is looking as though the reigning champions Whitehaven A (not Workington A as incorrectly stated last week) are keen to retain the trophy as they have taken maximum points from their first two games.
