Joan wins Cecil Leitch contest

THE Seascale Ladies played their Cecil Leitch 5 Club (and Putting) Competition.
The winner was Joan Atkinson with a very good 90-18=72. Gwyneth Morgan was runner up with 104-31=73 and Brenda Blair took the putting honours with 30 putts.
Thursday, April 5 saw the Ladies playing their first Mossop Qualifier. Joan Atkinson continued her winning ways coming in with another excellent score of 41 points, reducing her handicap to 17. Runner up was Melanie Temple with 35 points on the back nine from Brenda Blair. Gwyneth Morgan had the only 2 of the competition.
