Cyber-fit youngsters
Published at 11:08, Thursday, 01 March 2012
A BRAND new style of children’s fitness class is now on offer at Whitehaven Sports Centre.
Cyber Mania involves dance-mat based activities with a virtual coach, projected onto a big screen.
There are hundreds of games, activities and classes to choose from, meaning there’s no chance of getting bored with the same routines. Similar to the dance games found in arcades and fairgrounds, the mats provide youngsters with a really fun way to keep fit and active.
For seven to 10-year-olds, sessions take place at 4.15pm to 5.15pm on Thursdays, including school holidays.
