Junior golfers chase northern bragging rights

A TEAM of promising young golfers from Cumbria is chasing northern bragging rights this weekend.
The 20-strong line-up finished as the leading players on this year’s Cumbria Junior Tour. Now they are to face teams from the equivalent competitions in North-umberland and Durham in the first three-way showdown between the counties.
The final event is at Ramside Hall Golf Club, Durham, on Sunday, September 11.
