End of successful season

EGREMONT Rugby Union Club celebrated another successful season at their recent presentation event.
The club have run teams of all age groups from Under-8 to Under-16 and all of the players and teams have developed their skills and enjoyed themselves.
The club’s Under 12 and 14 teams enjoyed particular success by winning the County Cups. The Under 8 team also performed very well and won third place in the County Tag Tournament. The club’s success wasn’t limited within Cumbria as the Under 10, 11 and 14 teams reached the final stages in seven-a-side tournaments held across the north of England.
Individual awards were presented to Aidan Coulthard, Dan Adair, Tom Jeffrey, Richard Marr, Cairon Newlands, Alec Smith, Johhny Crichton, Mason Lewthwaite, Ben Brock, Ian Crichton, Sam Thompson, Sam Green, James Messenger, Lewis Hunter and Brandon Spokes.
The club also recognised four players who represented Cumbria this season: Lee Cruden, Lewis Lindsay, Cameron Moore and Aidan Coulthard, who captained the county team and also represented Newcastle Falcons in a North of England tournament.
The club are holding a registration day on Sunday, September 9, starting at noon and offer a warm welcome to everybody who wants to play and enjoy rugby next season.
