Presentations made to charities

COLD Fell and Low Place committees were joined by Whitehaven area on their presentation night in the Egremont Catholic Club, on Friday.
Cold Fell presented three cheques: to Cancer Research £405; Macmillan Nurses £100; Hospice at Home £100. Low Place HTC presented one cheque to Eskdale Nursery £600.
Whitehaven area committee would like to thank Cold Fell and Low Place for their generous gesture to the area committee.
Trails were held at The Shepherd’s Meet on Saturday, at Brown Cow, Waberthwaite.
Joanne Saterthwaite travelled down from Wigton to land a good double with Thorn Dolly and Thorn Girl. Ann and Ian Bell travelled from Burneside to take the Seniors win with Jimmy Brown.
