Farewell to Telmo
Last updated at 12:19, Thursday, 05 July 2012
ST Bees FC is saying goodbye to one of their young players.
Telmo Izeta is returning to Spain to further his education. Telmo who has been at St Bees for the past two seasons has been a key player for the village Sunday side picking up this year’s Manager’s Player of the Year award after scoring five goals and receiving 12 referee’s MoM awards.
Manager Carl Walmsley said: “It’s a shame to lose such a talented midfielder. His flair and quick feet will be hard to replace this coming season.“He’s a cracking lad and all at the club grew very fond of him and will miss him on and off the field. We wish him all the best in the future.”
