THE new Egremont & District Sunday League season has its big kick-off this weekend.
Cleator Moor FC will be looking to retain the Division One title they won last season, and launch their 2012-13 campaign at home to FC Labour on Sunday.
Cleator Moor concluded their pre-season with a memorial game against their fellow champions Hall Park, last year’s Workington & District League winners, on Sunday.
The game, which finished 3-1 to Hall Park, was played in memory of the late Hall Park manager and Workington League fixture secretary Graham Caton, who died in April. See page 45 for a report and pictures from the game held at Mirehouse FC.
