Summer rain reigns

THE only play in the North Lancs Cumbria Premier Division was at Kirkby, where Millom were the visitors. There was no play in the other five Division One matches.
After five overs Kirkby were 1 without loss when further rain stopped play permanently.
In Division One, Vickerstown batted first at Ulverston and declared at 164 for 7. Carl Botterill returned figures of 4 for 56.
In reply Ulverston were dismissed for 94, with Robert Lauderdale taking 5 for 25.
