WATH Brow prospect Karl Dixon was man-of-the-match as English Lions Under-18s ended their tour of Lebanon with a 56-0 victory over Liban Espoir.
The stand-off scored two of his side’s 11 tries on a hot and humid night in Beirut at the United States-sponsored university.
His Wath Brow team-mate Scott Pink also crossed with Maryport’s Sam Forrester, two, and Egremont’s Leon Crellin adding to the tally.
Danny Rowell of Kells, started in the centres while Chris Tomlinson from Glasson and Wath Brow’s Ian Curnow came off the bench.
Kelvin Lockett, Lions’ head coach, said: “I was very pleased with all the squad and knew that once we had all our key players functioning we would be too much for the spirited Espoir side.
“I have really enjoyed the tour, the boys have been terrific ambassadors for the game in England.”
