Workington Town will travel to Leeds amateurs Hunslet Club Parkside and Whitehaven will host fellow League One side London Skolars in the next round of the Challenge Cup.

Distington were drawn against professional opposition after being handed a trip to Coventry Bears in the draw made live on the BBC website.

Meanwhile, Kells will host the British Army.

Fellow Cumbrian sides Askam will also get the chance to test themselves against professional opposition in the third round of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup after being handed a home tie against York City Knights.

The draw was conducted by St Helens prop Alex Walmsley and Salford Red Devils hooker Kriss Brinning.

The ties are due to be played over the weekend of February 24 and 25, with a place in round four and the chance to take on a Championship team – including, potentially, Barrow Raiders – up for grabs.

Millom were handed a home tie for round three as well, being paired with St Helens-based amateurs Pilkington Recs.

One tie from round three will also be chosen for live streaming via the BBC Sport website.
