Seaton clawed some points back off Iggesund Cumberland League leaders Flimby on Saturday with a 36-12 away win.
Tom Curwen led the way with a brace of tries for the Seaton side who now lie in fourth.
The other match to go ahead saw Egremont edge out Kells by just two points 24-22.
Broughton Red Rose called off their match against Lowca as a mark of respect following the death of club official Ian Jackson.
In the Cumbria Men's League, Wath Brow had a good win over Walney Central 32-6.
Maryport just lost out in a close game with Ulverston 30-28 and Barrow Island beat Roose Pioneers 44-18.
