Four Cumbrian amateur RL sides will be in the hat for the third round draw of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.

Kells, Distington, Millom and Askam all tasted success in their second round games on Saturday so will now look to see who they will get in Tuesday's draw, where League One clubs enter the fray, including Workington Town and Whitehaven.

There were several upsets on the day, as 12 amateur sides progressed.

Former Cumbria Men's League champions Distington had an impressive 12-4 win over National Conference League division one side Lock Lane, from Castleford.

And NCL division three club Millom defeated Bradford Dudley Hill, from division one, 24-12.

Fellow Cumbrian side Askam also overhauled a team two tiers above them as they defeated West Hull 16-4.

While Kells made it four teams through as they dumped out Orrell St James in a very tight encounter 8-6.

The only Cumbrian side to exit the competition was Wath Brow Hornets who went down 24-6 at the home of Hunslet Parkside.

Tuesday night's draw will be live on the BBC Sport website from 7pm. England and St Helens prop forward Alex Walmsley and Salford Red Devils hooker Kriss Brining will conduct the draw.
