Horrendous weather couldn't keep West Cumbrian footballers from their pitches as the County Sunday Cup rumbled on at the weekend.

Seaton Royal Oak won 8-2 at Maryport United, with Brenden Wilkinson's hat-trick and goals from Cameron Caine, Steve Maxwell, Tom Powell, Ben Powell and Andrew Bromley firing the visitors to victory. Shane Wilson got Maryport's goals.

Matthew Perry scored four as Pack Horse beat Dearham, with Connor Hammell and Ian Wilson both chipping in while Steven Stoddart and Dale Hopper got consolation braces for the away side.

Grasslot were 4-2 winners against FC Cosmos Whitehaven thanks to two goals each from Dean Scholey and Zach Little.

Aston Reynold's brace for Workington Reds Juniors at Senhouse Street Club was cancelled out by two goals from Terry Warrior, three from Nathan Brash and another from Adam Frankam in a 6-2 win for the home side.

Blue Bell put four past Deer Orchard without reply as Gavin Martin hit a brace and Ryan Connelly and Greg Quayle also found the back of the net.

Adam Hocking scored two and Ewan Trestianu got another for Silloth Albion but it wasn't enough as Lowca Pirates bagged four goals, with Darren Johnston netting twice, Ryan Woodburn scoring another and Tommy McGrady firing in a wonder goal from 35 yards.

Sun Inn Athletic v Red House, Gaslight v Maryport Labour Club, Salterbeck v FC Labour Whitehaven and Haven Athletic v Sun Inn were all off.
