The White Horse Sea Angling Club’s match last Sunday was fished on North Head and both piers up to high water in a strong bitter cold easterly wind.

1 T Pullin 2 cod (heaviest 2lb 1oz), 1 whiting – 4lb 4oz; 2 T Tew 1 dogfish, 1 dab – 1lb 10½oz; 3 P Bragg 3 rockling – 12oz; 4 S Benson 1 whiting, 1 rockling – 9oz.

The next match this Sunday is also North Head and both piers with fishing times 1pm to 5pm and a one-hour walk-on time in place. The weigh-in is at the Sea Cadets building .

The latest Parton Sea Angling Club competition was held on Sunday.

The rover competition was fished over high water in a north east wind.

First H/B and H/F with a codling of 1lb-2oz was Paul Chapman. The next competition is a rover on Saturday, March 4, from 9am to 1pm, weigh-in at 2pm.
