The 27-year-old right-back has finalised his contract, which has an option to be extended by a further 12 months, two days before the start of pre-season training.
Simek's deal comes a day after midfielder James Berrett signed a new two-year contract, leaving Peter Murphy as the remaining out-of-contract player to sign new terms.
