A number of flood-affected properties that went under the hammer at an auction in Carlisle earlier this month all sold within a week.
In total 12 homes, in Carlisle and Wetheral, that had been flooded out during Storm Desmond in December, were sold by Auction House. The team from BBC programme Homes Under the Hammer filmed the event.
The conference room at the racecourse was packed with standing room only for latecomers.
Auctioneer Colin West said: "We had huge interest in this auction and I'm delighted that all the flood-damaged properties changed hands within a week of the sale.
"We also had a strong media presence from the BBC with their Homes Under the Hammer team filming, and The One Show following a vendor from start to finish."
The next auction will be on Tuesday, July 21, and The One Show programme broadcast on Wednesday, July 29.
