SIR – Since our resignations from the Board at Whitehaven RLFC it has been reported on almost a weekly basis that the club at that time was on the verge of extinction and one day from administration.

WEST Cumberland Hospital is the second largest employer in Copeland. It is vital that it remains in this borough. In fact, as the major town in Copeland, it needs to stay in the Whitehaven area – for so many reasons.
