INTERNATIONAL Nuclear Services (INS) have provided music to the ears of Whitehaven Male Voice Choir.
boost: Sarah Trainor, Jane Foreman and Debbie Rollason from INS present the cheque to Peter Argyle and the choir in Trinity Gardens
The company, which has worked closely with Sellafield for 40 years and ships nuclear materials, has donated £2,100 to the choir.
The cheque which was presented in Trinity Gardens will support the choir’s annual concert.
An INS spokesman said: “We’ve very glad to help support such a valuable community organisation.
“Almost all of their concerts are free for the enjoyment of local people and the annual concert is only one of two fundraising opportunities for themselves throughout the year.”
