FOLLOW the yellow brick road – all the way to Rosehill Theatre for a youth production of The Wizard of Oz.
Held in half-term week (February 16-20), this famous tale will be performed by Rosehill Youth Theatre and is directed by Anne Kelly.
The film was released in 1939, but made just a small profit despite its critical acclaim. It wasn’t until many years later and the popularity of television that the film became a classic.
Twelve-year-old Kansas farm girl Dorothy finds herself swept away by a tornado and lands in a world filled with singing munchkins, scary flying monkeys, an evil witch and a host of the oddest, but most heart-warming, characters in Hollywood history.
The show runs from Tuesday, February 16 to Saturday, February 20. Tues, Thurs and Fri at 7.30pm, Wed 2pm and Sat 2pm and 7.30pm.
