Treasury's green light for Albion Square plan

THE Government has this week given the green light to Whitehaven’s £20 million Albion Square scheme.

Have your say

Whitehaven will become Slough-on-Sea.

Lets hope the road going behind the multi will not be closed off at any point because there will be some very angry people Elaine

900 extra people working in Whitehaven town center is bound to have an effect on trade as these workers will require shops to buy food, drinks, newspapers etc etc. There is bound to be some disruption and I have not got a clue where these extra cars are going to be parked. The extra footfall may also make national retailers see Whitehaven in a more positive light.
Also in agreement with CRISBY no complaints what a surprise
