A HOST of star-studded celebrity memorabilia is up for grabs at a charity auction in Egremont next week.
Egremont rock star Francis Dunnery will be at the event next Friday, at which the items will go under the hammer to raise cash for the charity he created in memory of his parents, the Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children’s Fund.
T-shirts signed by sports stars Glenn Hoddle, Ricky Hatton, Gary Neville, Jamie Redknapp and Frank Worthington, as well as Steve Huison (Coronation Street’s Eddie Windass), are up for grabs.
Television and radio star Vernon Kay has donated a T-shirt from Radio One’s One Big Weekend, as has Jason Bradbury, from The Gadget Show.
Other items include a guitar signed by top musician Buzz Elliott, a shirt signed by local football star Scott Carson, and signed Carlisle United and Newcastle United shirts.
The event takes place in The Ship Launch from 7pm.
As well as the auction, there will be a raffle and music from John and Wayne, Buzz Elliott and MT Arms. Admission is free.
