Published at 15:40, Wednesday, 22 September 2010
ESKDALE agricultural show is being held this Saturday – and you are invited to go along to the fun.
There will be a whole range of traditional activities at the annual event, such as children’s sports events and fell races.
On show will be the popular Herdwick sheep, foxhounds and terriers as well as displays of local handicrafts.
Motor enthusiasts can view the displays of old farm machinery and engines.
Anne Fox, show secretary, said: “There is a little bit of something happening for everyone.
“I can guarantee a fun day for all the family. We are expecting good weather, which really helps!”
The event will be held on the field by the King George IV Inn and hotel.
