Sex offender in court for breaching order

A SEX offender has appeared in court for breaching an order imposed on him two years ago.

Clive Martin Wall, 44, who works in Cleator Moor, admitted accessing the internet without installing monitoring software between October 16, 2011 and October 17, 2012.

Wall appeared at Carlisle Magistrates Court on Thursday. Prosecutor Pam Ward said Wall was arrested outside his place of work in Cleator Moor.

“He was found to be in possession of a laptop computer, dongles, a computer tower and a digital camera,” she said.

Wall, of The Mills, Denton Holme, Carlisle, was made the subject of a sexual offences prevention order at Carlisle Crown Court in March 2010 after he was caught performing a sex act while watching boys at a Carlisle swimming pool’s children’s fun day.

He was given a suspended prison sentence and put on the sex offenders’ register for 10 years. Wall admitted 18 charges of downloading indecent photographs of children from the internet.

The case was adjourned to November 30 for committal. He was granted bail.
