Sellafield profits up – and so are directors’ pay packages
Last updated at 11:50, Thursday, 12 July 2012
SELLAFIELD has paid out £11 million in the last year to the 17 directors who run the site – that’s almost £2 million more than in the previous 12 months.
ha ha ha the comment of thorp being the only money maker on site, what targets did thorp ever reach? oh yeh and then the leak? you must have forgotten about that big building over the road(fhp)who by the way have just taken on a new contract from dunreay !
Don't forget the infamous journey to excellence they bang on about...then how come no new work is being sought after??Why is thorp closing...they are here for a bumper pay day then as previously said, when tax kicks in they will be off....journey to closure more like!!!!

Have your say
all this talk about bonouses, pay rises, and overtime, why cant smp look in the direction of the west cumberland hospital, after the sad events in japan and all the medical treatment needed for those poor people and workers, sellafield as a very small fall back at the hospital if ever there was an event on there site, why cant they sponser a state of the art ward set up for radiological treatments, this ward could be dual perpose ie,out patients?so that it could be set up very quickly if sellafield neaded it(hopefully never)i would love to talk to someone from smp reguarding this, come on people help me make this happen, with big funding from smp maybe just maybe we will get a hospital that we deserve and the council should be demanding when talking across the table when smp and new investors at sellafield are talking about new build reactors,
