Runner Paul helps soldiers

A DISTINGTON man has boosted soldiers serving on foreign fields after his marathon effort on Sunday.

Paul Jackson, 38, completed the London Marathon in three hours and 13 minutes and the £550 he has raised will go to Support Our Soldiers, which sends boxes of home comforts out to our troops.
It’s the eighth time that Paul, of Hawthorns Close, has completed the London Marathon.
