PUPILS from Jericho School also celebrated the Jubilee in style. The youngsters and staff came to school dressed in red, white and blue and there was a decorated table competition and traditional British lunch.
Alan Gillon from the Beacon visited the school to take part in a special assembly on life in the 1950s.
Teacher, Allyson Quayle, said: “We learnt and sang the National Anthem and there were lots of other fun activities.
“The Reception children also read the story ‘The Queen’s Knickers’ and designed special Jubilee knickers for her!’’
