A GROUP of Whitehaven School pupils were forced to walk part of the way to school today (Monday) after their bus was involved in a crash.
The school's double-decker bus on its way from Bransty had almost arrived at Whitehaven School when the accident happened at 8.45am.
It collided with a Honda Civic at the roundabout close to Whitehaven fire station, Hensingham, only yards from the school gates.
There were no injuries reported and Cumbria Police and Whitehaven firefighters attended to make the scene safe.
