Pupils at Hensingham study famous artists

FROM Warhol to Van Gogh, pupils at Hensingham Primary School have been studying famous artists. Children worked in mixed-age groups learning about screen printing, painting and clay modelling.

Sarah Parr, Hensingham teacher, said: “The culmination of the week was an exhibition to which parents were invited to come and view their children’s work.

“It was a lovely week and all the children really enjoyed working with children of different ages and learning about the different artists.’’
