Pupil Lawson’s bus design is a winner

CHILDREN at Frizington Community Primary School have been getting creative to help boost a local transport service.
winner: Lawson Degler with Barbara Lamb (Dean Parish Council clerk), Gillian Moore (vice-chair) and Gina Borley (locality transport officer for Cumbria County Council)
The school was approached by Arlecdon and Frizington, Dean, Ennerdale and Kinniside Parish Councils to design a front cover and picture for the 217 Frizington Cockermouth bus timetable.
Lawson Degler , from Year 1, was one of the winners and was presented with a £10 book token, certificate and a copy of the bus timetable in which his winning picture is printed.
