A MAN whose body was found at Whitehaven Harbour on Tuesday has been formally identified as that of Kevin O’Fee, of Moor Row.
Mr O’Fee, 46, of Compton House, was formally identified after the tragic discovery on Tuesday morning. His family has been informed.
Police officers are treating his death as unexplained, not suspicious, and a file has been passed to the coroner.
A dog walker called the police after finding Mr O’Fee’s body in bushes close to the harbour at North Shore.
Police officers and paramedics attended and pronounced him dead at the scene around midday.
The area, behind the United Utilities call centre, was sealed off as the body was recovered.
