Police clock driver doing 114mph on Distington bypass

Speeding drivers are being targeted in west Cumbria – with one motorist clocked driving 114mph.
Copeland police are cracking down on dangerous driving in the area and were out on patrol yesterday morning at Distington bypass.
Officers say that there was a number of offences and four drivers have been sent to court for the excessive speed they were travelling at.
A road safety operation is currently being carried out in the borough.
