A CLEATOR photographer has been chosen by Vogue Italia to feature on its website as it searches for new talent.
Jacqueline Moore’s picture was chosen by Vogue staff as they ultimately aim to pick the best three photographs uploaded to the site to publish in the world-famous magazine.
The featured shot is of local model Leah Corkhill with her face decorated with blackthorn blossom flowers drawn by her friend Katie Louise Hurst. It was shortlisted from thousands of images sent to the publication.
Jacqueline, who is a creative portrait photographer, said: “I like to do photo shoots outdoors as I think it makes for more natural pictures.’’
She also enjoys themed photographic sessions using props and her work includes youngsters dressed as pirates on the beach or brides taken in their dresses after their wedding day.
“It is great when they say they have enjoyed the whole experience and the photographs have boosted their confidence and self esteem,’’ Jacqueline said.
She will be holding an exhibition of her work, entitled What’s Her Story?, at Kendal’s Brewery Arts Festival from November 22 to January 31. For more information visit www.jacquelinemoorephotography.co.uk
Jacqueline is also encouraging people to go online and vote for her picture. Go to http://bit.ly/PO16Ix.
