Hit and run accident

POLICE are trying to trace the driver of a Subaru Impreza who knocked a cyclist off his bike and left the scene.
The cyclist was heading towards Cleator on the road from Egremont when the incident happened at around 9.30pm on Thursday last week.
The motorist was said to have come from the direction of Woodend and witnesses reported the car being driven off at speed following the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call Cumbria Police on 0845 3300247.
