£250 cost of spending penny
A WOMAN has been fined £150 for urinating in public.
The case against Mica Atkinson, 21, of Herdus Road, Whitehaven, was proved in absence at West Cumbria Courthouse.
District judge Gerald Chalk ordered the defendant to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
Speeder fined
A MOTORIST has been fined after she was caught speeding.
Kelly Holliday, 27, of Brierley Road, Cleator Moor, admitted driving at 52mph in a 30 zone, for which she must pay a £133 fine, £50 court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
No insurance
ALEXANDER Humphreys, 26, of Ennerdale Road, Cleator Moor, drove without insurance and has been fined £100 plus £50 costs and a £15 victim surcharge. He pleaded guilty.
Driver fined
DRIVING without wearing a seatbelt has cost Peter Irving, 32, of Moor Row, a £35 fine.
Costs of £50 and a £15 victim surcharge were also imposed on the defendant, who pleaded guilty.
£200 fine
A FINE of £200 has been given to Diane Rowell, 48, who admitted driving without insurance.
The defendant – a resident of Low Moresby – must also pay £50 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
Uninsured driver
NATASHA Sherwen, 26, of Kings Drive, Egremont, has pleaded guilty to driving without insurance.
A fine of £100 plus £50 costs and a £15 victim surcharge were imposed.
