The next meeting takes tomorrow (Friday). Breakfast is served from 7.30am and the meeting gets under way at 8am. Contact the centre for more details.
T-shirts for Midnight Walk
COPELAND women taking part in the Midnight Walk can pick up their T-shirts from Workington town centre this Saturday.
Staff from Hospice at Home West Cumbria will be in the empty shop opposite Home Bargains and next to the Rug Shop in Campbell-Savours Way from 10am to 1.30pm to hand out the T-shirts and information packs for the six-mile fund-raising walk on June 29.
T-shirts can be picked up from the empty shop for family and friends and any that are not picked up will have to be hand delivered by hospice staff and volunteers.
Places are still available for the walk. Entries can be made online at www.hospiceathome westcumbria.org.uk.
Driver cut free
A WOMAN was cut free from her vehicle by firefighters after two cars collided on Church Street, Frizington, around 5.20pm on Friday.
