Coastal path part of UK plan

PROPOSALS for a new walking route between Allonby and Whitehaven will be discussed at Moresby’s next neighbourhood forum.

The meeting will take place at the Rosehill Barn on June 13 from 7pm. It is open to anyone who wants more information or raise any questions.

Members of the public will have the chance to comment on Natural England's draft proposals for a new walking route between Allonby and Whitehaven. This will form part of the England Coast Path, a new National Trail that will eventually allow people to walk around the English coast.

Display information will also be available on Copeland's Coastal Initiative.

This is a special joint neighbourhood forum. Grants will not be awarded at this meeting, however applications for future forums are being accepted.
