Man’s leg broken in Whitehaven pub attack

A MAN suffered a broken leg in an assault in a Whitehaven town centre pub.
The 38-year-old Whitehaven man was injured in the incident in Shakers, on Duke Street, near to closing time in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The attacker is described as a white male, in his twenties, and was wearing a dark shirt.
Witnesses are asked to telephone Whitehaven police station on 101.
