Man charged after building society raid

A man will appear in court tomorrow charged with burglary and theft after a building society was targeted in Cleator Moor.
Gareth Richard Flemming, 29, of Duke Street, Whitehaven, will appear before magistrates in Workington in connection with a burglary at the Cumberland Building Society in Cleator Moor on Friday afternoon.
Flemming was charged on Saturday and remanded in custody ahead of today’s court appearance.
