Lourdes trip is huge success

YOUNGSTERS from Cumbrian Hero’s HCPT Group 75 enjoyed themselves on an Easter trip to Lourdes.
Supported by volunteers, the kids took part in trips to the caves, Hosanna House, St Jean de Luz beach and an animal park.
Ann Marie Rogan, organiser and fundraiser, said: “The kids were yet again amazing and the group can’t thank the community enough for their support over the last 12 months. Vacancies are available for anyone who would like to come as a helper but you must enjoy fun, singing and laughter!’’
As a thank you for everyone who has supported the group, a reunion event will be held on Friday, May 4, at St Mary’s, Kells at 7pm. A short DVD of the trip will be shown.
The group is already starting to raise money for the Easter 2013 visit to Lourdes. This Saturday, The Amazing Chapman Brothers will be singing at St Mary’s Club, Kells. Tickets are £3 or £3.50 on the door.
For more information, or and if you would like to nominate a child for the next trip, contact Ann Marie on 07872426037 on email hcptgroup75@gmail.com
