Library fun time

WHITEHAVEN library is offering a range of activities to keep youngsters entertained during the holidays.
Sunday craft sessions, on an Olympic theme, will be held on August 5, 12, and 26, from 1pm to 3pm. Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult.
Drop-in summer craft sessions for the under-fives will be held at the library from 10.30am to 11am on August 7 and 14. Craft sessions around this summer’s Story Lab reading challenge will also be running today (eight years and over), August 9 (four to seven) and August 16 (eight years+).
Across Copeland, libraries will also be holding Going for Gold Olympic craft sessions. These are at: Whitehaven, August 2, 10.30am to 11.30am (eight years+); August 9, 10.30am to 11.30am (four to seven years); Millom, August 9, 3pm to 4pm (six to 12 years); Distington, August 10, 3pm to 4pm (four years+); Hensingham, August 13, 3pm to 4pm (four years+) and Whitehaven, August 16, 10.30am to 11.30am (eight years+).
